fuzzy, but lacking in the smarts department

It’s pretty common to walk into our upstairs bathroom and find our cat sitting in the tub.

cat

Why, you ask?

Well, apparently, the fresh water in his bowl downstairs is simply not good enough for him.

He needs something more.

Something better.

Something like the little drops of water left in the tub after we drain the kids’ baths.

Aggg … blech.

I grew up with dogs, you know.  And I am telling you, I do not understand cats AT ALL.

one tough cookie

This might be the toughest little toddler I’ve ever met:

(and my lands, he slays me in that tiny aviator jacket)

The day of our session was … ohhhhh … I’d saaaayyy … about 20 degrees too cold to actually be outside for longer than 3 minutes.

But this little guy was totally up for it.

I was all, “Hey, my fingers are frozen!” and he was all, “Look at the super fun water!”

Apparently, I’m a bit of a sissy.

And also, while we’re at it, let’s just mention how lovely his Mom looks, and how you WOULDN’T EVEN KNOW that she is 7 months pregnant:

I mean, really.

I won’t even subject you to photos of me at 7 months pregnant.

I had a really good time with these guys out at Lake O’Dowd in Shakopee and I can’t wait to see their new family addition when s/he arrives in January.

And real quick, I just have to post a picture or two of their little dog, Bo, who came along for our walk.

Poor old puppy was 10 years old and fading a bit.

Such a cute little guy; he had lots to say.

Good little puppy had to be put down the week after our walk, but I know he’s feeling happier and a lot more comfortable now.

Those pets, man … they sure tug at our heart strings.

he does it as a public service

I’m going to veer off topic for a moment to set your mind at ease about something:

If your dog or cat at home is falling behind on his pet-hair-shedding quota, you do not need to worry!

Because our cat is picking up the slack.

In fact, I think we could make a whole new cat out of everything he has shed this Spring.

Maybe we could make a new cat who would be more concerned about the shedding.

Because, clearly, our cat is not concerned.

At all.
