Yesterday was Valentine’s day and my husband gave me these beautiful irises and lilies:

I gave him this crudely made (but tasty!) chocolate cake.

Hey, we all just have to work with the talents we have, right?

Or don’t have, as the case may be.

Ah well.

My son liked the chocolate cake and my daughter liked the flowers; so in the end, it all worked out.

So here it is. Blog post number one.

I haven’t decided yet exactly what I’m going to put on this blog. Hopefully, once things get rolling, I can talk about some of the neat photo sessions I’ve had and the fun families I’ve met.

That’s what I hope to post here, anyway. However, as those who know me well could tell you, I tend to veer wildly off subject. Especially when I’m typing. My fingers have minds of their own. They’re chatty little appendages.

But I’ll do my best to stay on track. Or mostly on track. Somewhere near the track … off in the distance, maybe … behind those dense bushes.
